If you prefer to use separate wires to hook up your CNC720, this breakout board will help you. Simply plug this in on top of the CNC720 and start wiring your controller.

Each breakout board kit contains the following:

  • 1x Breakout Board CNC720
  • 4x PCB Spacer M3x19mm
  • 4x PCB Spacer M3x8mm
  • 8x Screw M3x6mm

Installation

The kit contains all the mounting material to mount a CNC720 controller and breakout board.

1 Create mounting holes

The first step is to make holes for mounting the CNC720, the dimensions can be found at the bottom of the page

2 Mount bottom spacers

5 Mount the breakout board and fix the board with the four M3 screws

Setup

The switch that is used for the HOME sensor can be connected to GND or 24V, this can be selected by the jumper on the breakout board.

The Estop Open Collector output jumper can be set to 5V or 24V, depending on what type of relay you want to use. This voltage will be present on the ‘+’ pin
