The HomeIsEStop feature can be used to guard the home sensor inputs while operating the machine. When the feature is turned on using the 

 command, any activation of one of the sensors triggers an error, causing the machine to stop moving. 

Because the machine needs to be able to home correctly, it is important to turn the feature off before starting any home operation. This can be done using the 

 command. It is advisable to place these commands at the start and end of all homing subroutines (either in the
